Alabama A&M marching band will lead Macy’s Parade

If you tune in to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, you’ll see a familiar marching band leading the way. The Alabama A&M University Marching Maroon and White band will be the first marching band featured in the classic parade.

You can watch the band in action at the parade, which is in its 97th year, on NBC or Peacock TV on Thursday, Nov. 23rd. The coverage starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at noon.

Ten other marching bands will march in the parade.

Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and Al Roker will host NBC’s telecast, and it’ll include performances from Chicago, Bell Biv DeVoe, Brandy, Ashley Park with the Muppets of Sesame Street and more.

Alabama A&M reports that the university’s Dancing Divas will also perform with the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall.
